The principle component of the QPA solutions is the design of the measuring head to ensure representative sampling.
The Tefwin (QPAbutter)
The Tefwin dairy in-line sample cells have been developed to meet a large range of requirements, including:
- No glass parts
- CIP capabilities
- Flexibility in terms of process pipe size

- IP66 electronics housing
- Low cost of ownership
- CE-marking
- Easy to clean in and out design (low growth risk)
Application: Butter, Spreads, Meat, etc.
Powder Probe
The Powder probe sits in an area of falling powder which it collects on a spoon shaped depression. The collected powder is scanned and then blown off the probe when finished to collect a fresh sample.
Applications: Whey powder, Milk Powder, etc.
Liquid Head (QPAmilk, QPAwhey)
The head is based around a Teflon side stream that diverts a portion of the flow from the main process pipe work through a teflon tube that is squeezed to a specific thickness at the point where fiber optics measure the sample.
Applications: Milk, Whey, etc.
