QFA focus
The QFA focus is an FT-NIR platform designed to measure soft, malleable samples (butter, spreads, minced meat, melted chocolate, etc.) in low-cost disposable plastic clip-seal bags.
A large sample area is scanned by transmission so a highly representative measurement is made of the sample so even with inhomogeneous samples results are very repeatable.

A short video clip of the QFA Focus is available to view below:
QFA flex
The QFA flex is an FT-NIR platform that can be configured in a number of ways to measure solids and/or liquids/oils.
Solids are measured by diffuse reflectance either by simply placing the sample in a Petri dish/plastic bag/Teflon container on the Powerport OR placing it in a bottle that is rotated during measurement.
Liquid/oils are measured by transmission in disposable vials (12, 8 or 5 mm) in a holder that can be heated.
Combined options are available so that solids and liquids/oils can be measured on the same instrument.
One version of the QFA flex is available that measures the entire Mid and Near infrared spectrum using a dual source system.
